Have Contracted Infection, Soft Muscles And Flaccid, Increased Urination, Dehydration. Done Stool Tests. What Is Going On?

I have contracted some infection which causes my muscles to be soft and flaccid. Also markedly increased urine output. He increase in uop was one of my first symptoms. I work out a lot but can no longer build muscle. It seems there's nothing to fill my muscles with and they remain flaccid. I believe I am chronically dehydrated as well. Labs reveal no abnormalities. My Vit d is low however. I think it's a gi tract infection but stool tests have been neg. I know I can also transmit this to others.

Hi There,
The flaccidity could be due to dehydration. You have mentioned increased frequency of urination, have you got your sugars tested. GI infection is associated with loose stools, abdominal pain and blood and mucus in stools. I suggest a urine analysis and culture to rule out diabetes and urinary tract infection.
Thanks.
