hi. for over a week iv been feeling ver sick on and off but only been sick once. after eating a small amount of food i get very bloated and i constantly feel stressed and realy tired. my boy friend and i have been trying for a baby but i had me period only 2 weeks ago. my priod only lasted 3- 4 days. could i be pregnant? what else could it be? thank you.
Your symptoms of being bloated, stressed and tired seem to be coming from some inflammation in the gut. It can be irritable bowel syndrome in which the person experiences some abdominal discomfort related to stressors. Another possibility is bacterial overgrowth in the gut. There can also be some problem with the normal functioning of liver or pancreas. These organs secrete chemicals that help in proper digestion of food. Such symptoms can also happen after taking certain medicines.
The possibility of you being pregnant looks remote since you had your periods two weeks ago. To confirm pregnancy you can take a urine or blood pregnancy test.
If the symptoms don't resolve after removing the stressors then you may consider going to a physician for a detailed physical examination and some investigations.
I hope I addressed your concerns.
Thanks.
