Have Back Pain And Pain In Stomach. Had A Coil Fitted Earlier. No Test Or Medication Till Now. What To Do?

Hi I have had a coil fitted a few months back which has caused me to have heavier periods I know this is normal however I am experiencing pain when I touch my stomach it also hurts to sit down sometimes I have also experienced shooting pains up my back passage with it too also I have been suffering from pain in my lower back have you any idea what this could be

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
There is possibility of some pelvic infection.
Incidence of pelvic inflammatory disease is more in women with IUD than in normal women.
So you once consult gynecologist and get examined to rule out the possibility of infection and to check the intrauterine presence of IUD. And take treatment according to your doctor's advice.
You can go for one ultrasound to get clarification regarding these things.
