Had unprotected oral sex, had pre-cum. Have sore throat and running nose. Why?

Dear doctor I had unprotected oral sex with a stranger here in saudi arabia, he looked more than 45 or 50 years old. There was no ejaculation in my mouth but there might have been pre cum. There was no symptom of hiv or ars untill 4 weeks 4days later i had a sore throat and blocked and running nose which healed by antibiotics in 2 days

It is possible that your symptoms may be related to the common cold and not to transmission of HIV.

Acute infection of HIV can result in no symptoms or can cause flu like symptoms such as muscle ache or pain, fever, sore thoat, stomach upset.
In addition there is a risk of transmission of other sexually transmitted infections.

You may want to consider having yourself screened for HIV and the other infections ( chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, hepatitis B) to ensure that none of them are present.
In most cases unless the tests are done, then persons continue to worry because they are unsure of their status, it would be best to be tested.
