Suggest Medicine For Sore Throat And Running Nose

My 7 year old daughter had fever yesterday with sore throat and runny nose. Today she has no fever but still has a sore throat and says belly hurts also after shower noticed a slight rash on face buttocks belly and legs tiny little red dots.does not itch?still has runny nose. Any thoughts?

Hi welcome to HCM...

It looks like viral infection for which symptomatic management done ...

Drink more water ...

Give her decongestent like phenylephrine or cetrizine ....

Steam inhalation given three times a day...

Salt water gargles done ..

Avoid excess spicy foods ....

For runny nose if needed oxymetazoline nasal drop can be given ...

If rash increases on body than chicken pox like infection has to be ruled out ...

Take care ...

Advise : consult pediatrician or physician ...
