Had Temperature Of 35 Deg, Since 3 Days. Anything To Worry?
Hi ! My sons had a mystery illness for 3 days . He had a temp of 39.4 Sunday and I managed to get it down . He seems a lot better with no temp so I sent him to school today. He has just woken up crying but says he feels fine. Checked his temp again and it s 35.1, he says he doesn t feel cold and is well tucked up in bed. Could this just be the virus or should i be worried ? Thanks

I would suggest that you recheck your son's temperature. If he is fine and playing around then it is very unlikely that the temperature will be 35.1C. On rechecking if you find the temperature to be low then put another layer of clothing on him and consult your doctor.

Dear user,
Skin temperatures are not reliable and you should probably take either the temperature in the mouth, or take him to a doctor to measure the core temperature in his ears (with the special ear temperature instrument) or the rectum (with a rectal thermometer). I believe that your son is well, so I wouldn't really worry!
