Had Persistent Cough, X-ray Showed Vascular Prominence, Already Taking Blood Pressure Pills, Statins Due To Streaking Of Arteries.

I have had a persistent cough for seven weeks. Nothing has come up I mean I have not expelled any king of matter. . Doctor eventually g ave X-ray and said that there was vascular prominence and I await an appt for a scan. I already take blood pressure pills , and statins due to streaking of arteries following an angiogram ( in 2004 )

You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,Lipid profile,ECG in all leads,ECHO,CT Scan of thorax and further investigations if needed.
There may be various causes of cough.
Proper treatment can be given after clinical examination and investigation reports.
