Had Mirena Inserted. Bled For Days. Will This Ruin Sex Life? Will It Stop Eventually?

hi, i had a mirena inserted on the 24 of april, i didnt bleed for the first 3 days which i thought was grt this thing might actually work, but since then i have been bleeding like having a normal period , even when i was on the pill i didnt bleed or have the longevity that i do now, when is this going to stop, its ruining my sex life.

Hi there ~

Having the mirena is obviously not working for you. It is different for different people and how each person reacts to a medication is very individual. I do not think that mirena was right for you since your sex life is currently non-existant due to your daily periods. I hope you understand and consult your gynecologist to have your mirena removed.
