Had Bleeding. Have Uterine Fibroid. Pregnancy Test Positive. Am I Pregnant?

I SAW MY LAST PERION ON THE 13TH APRIL 2013 AND HAD HSG TEST ON THE 27TH APRIL 2013. Did pt test at Home 3weeks ago and it was positive and later did blood test which also was positive. But last monday 27th may 2013, i saw blood like a capfull on my pant and went to the clinic on tuesday . An ultrasound was done and they said they could not see gestational sac or hear any heart beat but the size of my uterus was 12.2 in its widest AP diameter due to the uterine fibroid. With the doctors calculation of my last period,i was suppose to be 6 wekks 3days. So another doctor said it was the fibroid that triggered hormonal pregnancy that i was never pregnant. They gave me another appointment in two weeks of which i should be 8weeks gone.but i noticed that for 2days i saw spotting of very dark brown on my panties. Pls wat is wromg. My email ad is YYYY@YYYY

If you are pregnant then your menses will stop.
As there is bleeding so it may be that you are not pregnant.
The ultrasound reports also show the same.visiting a gynaec will help you more
take care
OBGYN Dr. Sree Gouri SR's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As both your blood and urine tests gave positive results for pregnancy, there is possibility of pregnancy.
And may be you had early miscarriage. Fibroid may be responsible for it.
Because of that ultrasound may failed in recognizing gestational sac.
But sometimes like in case of wrong dates ultrasound may not detect very early gestation.
So you wait for two more weeks as adviced by your doctor and go for repeat scan.
If the spotting increases better to consult gynecologist once and go for repeat scan early.

Take care.
