You need to have a thorough history taking and examination followed by a transvaginal scan in order to reach a diagnosis. If the examination and ultrasound scan are normal, you may have chronic inflammation in your pelvis which requires a specific antibiotic treatment. You may have a condition named adenomyosis or endometriosis which may benefit from contraceptive pills. You may simply have pelvic congestion from prolonged constipation or sexual dissatisfaction.
