Had A Heart Attack. Taking Valparin. Side Effects?

Hi...I am hiren panchal...i am taking valparin twice in a day from last 21 years...my age is 22 years and i am male...my height is 5.9 ft.....my weight is 75 kg....i have my last attack in september 2009...Should i continue with valparin ??? isnt there is any side effect of it....i am taking VALPARIN CROMO 750 mg....doctors suggest me to take it for life time...

Valparin cromo contains sodium valproate. Its an anti epileptic drug, used for seizure control. Usually its a safe drug when it comes to cardiac side effects. Nausea, stomach upset, skin rash, tremor,hair loss,weight gain
behavioral changes (depression in adults, irritability in children). so you should continue with your prescription, as this drug is more useful for u rather than harming.
