Got Injured In An Accident. Did MRI. Have Disc Problems. Advised To Have A Nuclear Bone. Problem?

Recently went for an MRI for injuries sustained in an auto accident 3years ago. The radiologist I'd a new area or recent area that was an inflamed edema at the L3. My disc problems have always been in the L4 and L5 region? The doctors are requesting a nuclear bone scan? Is this something I should be concerned about, or something that was never I'd from the beginning?

Hi,

The L3 pathology could be a complication of the injury at l4 and l5. I would consider it priority to evaluate the inflammation and place the treatment at the earliest.

Regards,
