Frequent Urination, Unable To Empty Bladder, Tingling Sensation After Urinating. Treatment Options?

What does it mean when u have frequent urination and when u go sometimes its only a few drops. And there is an uncomfortable tingling sensation afterwards not burning. Not unbearable, but just uncomfortable. The tingling happens when i drink a soda or juice or something like dat and eventhough you are not peeing you feel it sometimes.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

Thank you for your query.

There could be a chance you have a bladder infection, as frequent urination and a feeling of incomplete evacuation could indicate this. A urine analysis would help in detecting an infection in the urine. A urine culture would help in choosing the best antibiotic to treat the infection (if present).

Let me also inform you that in males, a condition called prostatomegaly (enlargement of the prostate) also has a similar presentation, a few other symptoms of prostatomegaly are:

-Increased urge to urinate
-Feeling of incomplete evacuation of urine
-Dribbling (less urine, mostly only drops)
-Urine falls on feet (poor stream/flow)

As your sex has not been mentioned, if you are a male, a prostate exam would be require to make an informed diagnosis.

Please consult your Urologist for the same.

I hope I have succeeded in answering your questions, you could write back to me anytime for further clarifications.

Best wishes.
