For What Condition Is Alerfix M Tablet Used?

Sir,
I a presently visiting my children in USA. I was prescribed Alerfix M tablet by my doctor just before I left for US. I have lost the prescription and forgotten for what purpose I should use this medicine. I have brought a few tablets as precautionary measure. I can't remember the purpose of this particular tablet. Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Alerfix is used as a systemic antihistamine. Mainly indicated in the treatment of allergic reactions. It works in the same way as benadryl/allergra, etc. It is generally not intended to be used for long durations unless under special conditions. The most common reason that you could be prescribed this drug is to help relief you of symptoms of common cold.
