Fluid Filled Lump In The Corner Of The Eye. Need A Permanent Solution

Hi...I have a small fluid filled lump on the corner (outer) side of my eye lid..It continues to fill with fluid after several trips to the Dr.. He explained at his last visit that I could do the same thing at home that he was charging me for, which was to clean the area and take a small needle and puncture it while draining the fluid. He explained that it would continue to fill up... What is this and How can I get it to just go away? Please Help!!

Hello,
From the description you give,it appears you have a chalazion of the upperlid.
You need to check your diabetic status as you are have recurrence.Check for meibomianitis ,which is an excessive oily secretion from sebaceous gland of the eyelid, and can lead to frequent styes.
Any procedure on the eyes ,involving needles and puncturing, should be under medical supervision.
Thanks,Take care.
