Welcome to HCM!
In a 9 month old viral infection is the most common cause of fever. You have already got him examined and if routine blood tests are done and negative then there is nothing to worry.keep him hydrated, give antipyretics like crocin to bring down fever and you can do cold sponging if required.
take care!

Thanks for your query.

If your son has 39.1 C fever with chills it is likely that he is having an infection somewhere in the body. If not urine, it could well be a respiratory or a gut infection.

So its better that you visit the ER or a local pediatrician ASAP to sort out the source of infection.

Mean while continue feeding your child and try tepid sponging.

Hope this helps
Good luck.
