Feeling Weak, Lethargic And Agitated. Could Not Go To Gym. Suggest
I was recently in a severe car accident and had a ton of tests done but my question is relating to my arm where I did find out I have several pinched nerves. But recently things have gotten to the point I can barely sleep or even live my life. My right arm now is so bad that whenever my elbow is bent for more than even 1-2 minutes my hands start going completley numb and it even goes into my wrist and forearm area. I can not do anything with that right arm that requires any bending of my elbow because instantly it goes numb and when I wake up EVERY singly morning I am in shear hell because my hand is dead numb and my thumb is in the worst pain I have ever had. It was never like this before but just recently I would say almost a month this has been happening and is really getting worse. I do not know what to do, I am planning on going to see that doctor again for nerves but until I get in I was wondering what it could be and how I can treat it at home because I can NOT sleep or do anything and cry all the time because it hurts and is so frustrating to wake up with that terrible pain in my thumb and hand and even after straightening my elbow out it takes a long time for it to go away probably because it was bent all night. I take klonopin at night just to sleep because I couldnt if I didnt knock myself out, even trying to go to bed is hard because it has to be completley straight and I have to be in the exact right position even on my shoulder.
I understand your concern. However it may be best to wait till your doctor's appointment. The neurosurgeon will probably recommend surgery to readjust your nerve to a place where it will not be crushed when you bend it so as to give you the numb arm as well as the severe pain. I also advise you to contact your doctor to find out what you would need in terms of medications so as to not wake up with that sensation. There are a lot of medications that can be of help. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
