Extreme Swelling, Bleeding In Lower Abdominal Area After Intercourse. Bladder Issues. What Should Be Done?

I experience extreme swelling and bleeding in lower abdominal area after intercourse (every single time). I have experienced this after the birth of my first child; nearly eight years ago. I have had scans etc and they ended up finding bladder issues (intersitinal cystitic) however I do not feel this is reason for bleeding and swelling afterwards. Any ideas?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The bleeding after intercourse every time is not likely to be related to interstitial cystitis., You need to consult your gynecologist for a PAP smear examinmation to rule out any cervical pathology.
