Explain The Need Of Xray For Fallopian Tube To See The Blockage After Laproscopy And Hysterscopy For Dye Not Passing Through

My doctor did laproscopy and hysterscopy and now he s saying that the dye didn t pass through the fallopian tube during laproscopy. Now he wants me to do xray for the fallopian tube to make sure they are not blocked. Why didn t he rectified it during the laproscopy. Please can you help what can this xray do to help. I also have pcos

A laparoscopy enables the surgeon or gynaecologist to directly view the organs of the abdomen and pelvis.
A hysteroscopy is a way for your doctor to look at the lining of your uterus.
A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is a special kind of x-ray.
It involves placing an iodine-based dye through the cervix and taking x-rays to help evaluate the shape of the uterus and whether or not the fallopian tubes are open or blocked.
You should do it as prescribed form your doctor.
