Enlarged Uterus With Cyst On Right Ovary. In Post Menopause. On Hormone Replacement. Suffering From Hyperthyroidism

I have just received the results of my ultrsound, and it showed an enlarged uterus (14.6) and a cyst on my right ovary. I am 62 years old, and I am post menapausal I do take a hormone replacement. What are my options? Also, I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Could this be the cause of the thickening of the uterus? I am having surgery next week, where they will be taking out the right portion of the thyroid that has a nodule on it.

HI I AM DR USMAN
WELL APPARENTLY THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN HYPERTHYROIDISM AND ENLARGED UTERUS. SMALL CYSTS IN OVARIES ARE GENERALLY BENIGN AND SHOULD RAISE NO CONCERN TILL THE TIME THERE IS INCREASE IN SIZE OF THE CYSTS OR DEVELOPMENT OF SEPTATIONS WITHIN OVARY. JUST GET A ROUTINE FOLLOWUP ULTRASOUND AFTER EVERY 4 MONTHS. THANKS
