Done Hysterectomy For Endometrial Cancer. No Bleeding Or Discharge Post Surgery. Is Something Wrong?

I had robotic total hysterectomy on June 19 due to diagnosed endometrial cancer. I am post menopause 61 years old. I was told to expect some bleeding/discharge but have had none. Is something wrong?
I won't know stage or whether it spread until July 9th oncologist/surgeon appointment because I spoke to his nurse today and she wouldn't tell me anything. She said he would go over all the reports in person. ( he also took some lymph nodes as well). Surgeon originally said we could discuss results via phone call. I am worried he doesn't have good news. Should I be?
I can't afford to pay for an answer but thank you anyway.

Thanks for using HCM.

Not everyone get discharge. few people may get discharge in post operative period. you need not have to worry for this.
consult your doctor for further management of cancer, depending on stage of cancer.
weather you need any further treatment for endometrial cancer.

Hope I have answered your query. have a good health.

General & Family Physician Dr. Achuo Ascensius's  Response
Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

following total abdominal hysterectomy, any bleeding would be due to
blood trapped within the vagina or small blood that remained in the
abdomen and in this second case if reperitonisation is done, bleeding
would be less likely to occur.

There is no reason to be afraid if you did not experience any bleeding,
am sure y0u were told that you could bleed and not that you were going
to bleed.

As for the extend of the cancer, its unfortunate that its only after the histological exams of the excised structures that a definite answer could
be given and that can only be given by your doctor.

Wishing you all the best
Dr Achuo
