Does Weight Gain After Tubal Ligation Indicate Perimenopause
Hi I am 43 years old I had a tubal ligation 21 years ago My last period was 37 days ago and usually have been fairly regular usually about 23 day apart I keep gaining weight even though I am tracking and being very careful with what I eat and I walk atleast 4-5 times a week. Is it possible that I could be starting perimenopause
Firstly there is no relation of tubal ligation with weight gain. Now according to your age and as u are grtting delayed menses, you are perimenopausal.. And yes your weight gain may be due to altered lipid metabolism and decrease in basic metabolic rate. You shud include high fiber, phytoestrogen and change in life style accordingly.
