Does Thyroid Increase Sugar Level?
I m 60 and about 25 lbs over weight at 5ft 9in. I just started pills for diabetes, before I walked 2 miles tonite it was 193 after it was 265 and after a bath it is 299. I take a pill at breakfast and supper, could hashi moto thyroid cause this or is it the heat. Thanks Linda

Hashimoto thyroiditis causes elevated metabolism followed by slow metabolism. Theoretically slow metabolic rate might increase blood sugars.
