Does The Delay In Taking Trinessa By 2 1/2 Hours Mess Up Anything?

Okay, so I usually take my Trinessa birth control at 6:00 am every morning. Well, today my alarm did not go off, so it caused me to wake up at 8:30 am. I took my pill right when I realized that I woke up late. Do you think that taking my pill 2 1/2 hours late will mess anything up? Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Please do not worry at all.
A 2 1/2 hours delay does not cause much issues. Just take the next pill at the regular time next day and you will be all right.

If the delay is more than 12 hours or if multiple pills are missed, or pills are missed repeatedly in a single cycle, then there may be problems regarding contraception failure. There must not be any problem in your case. So relax and have a good day.

Hope this satisfies your query.
