Does Taking Supplements Interfere With Blood Tests?

I have high calcium and albumin levels in my blood test. I have been taking herbal suppelments theanine triptophan and melatonin everyday to sleep instead of xanax. Myy liver count is fine. Since I have been watching my drinking alcohol.I have another blood test in two months. Could these supplements make them react or roi need to drink more water?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

These supplements are not supposed to interfere with testing but since they're not well-documented products you'd better take them after you're done with the tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Panagiotis Zografakis, Internal Medicine Specialist
