Does Surgery For Ovarian Cyst Cause Any Problem In Future?
I had a stillbirth (baby girl) on Nov 17th 2013 at 40 weeks.. due to obvious reason... but because of medical negligence. My periods returned on dec 15 2013 and my second cycle has started on 11 jan 2014.
Previous in the year 2010 i was operated for ovarian cysts. I am healthy. Presently my doc has asked me to take siphene 50mg. Is it Ok ? will i have any problem further?
Generally operation for ovarian cyst is unlikely to cause problems such as infertility. The siphene tablet you are taking will help to regularize ovulation, you can continue the same. Usually it is given for 6 months; it results in live birth rates around 50%. In people who are not benefited with siphene then drugs such as gonodotrophin can be used for induction of ovulation and to improve the live birth rate. Hence don't be anxious; you can have a perfectly healthy baby in the future.
