Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.
As per your complain it seems that you daughter has a bifid
uvula and it occurs when there is a developmental disturbance leading to incomplete fusion of the two sides of the
palate leading to a bifid uvula..
It is true that it
adenoidectomy is performed in this case and if there is incomplete fusion of the palate there can be an opening formed between nose and mouth and can further deteriorate the condition..
The other problem that you are facing is that as she has only broken fragments of baby teeth present that means that she has a condition of aggressive cavities or caries known as Rampant caries and when the infection progresses from teeth to the roots it can also effect the underlying growing permanent tooth buds leading to permanently stained, deformed or malformed teeth..
It is a matter of concern because the child has to continue with the
permanent teeth throughout life..
So I would suggest you to consult a Pedodontist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and x rays of the teeth and can advise appropriate treatment like
Fluoride application, fillings r capping of teeth depending upon the condition of permanent teeth..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
