Does Silent HPV Cause Swelling In Lymph Nodes?

My lymph noDes under my left side jaw is swollen and it hurts when I yawn or sometimes when I swallow. When I touch and put pressure on it it gets painful even to the left ear. I am also positive for HPV the silent kind of HPV. It would make a difference

No HPV never cause such a problem. HPV can cause wart.

It has no pathology which can affect the lymph nodes

But you should investigate yourself for the lymph node swelling. There are many infections that can cause swelling in the glands.

Each condition should be weighted against the swelling. You should take the proper history and examination by nearby doctors that can only give idea that can treat you in effective way.

Before you visit you can take the paracetamol and aceclofenac for the pain, pantoprazole for acidity control.

If you are sexually active avoid sex or do protective intercourse with the condom.
