Does Report Of Initial Stage Of Glaucoma Need Second Opinion?
hi i am dr.rathnabharathi 31year old female residing at tanjore.i have myopia for 25years.now my power is_6.5 .i went to vasan eye care for my routine check up.the ophthamologist said that there is cupping of disc in my right eye so she asked me to do oct.after seeing my oct report she said its initial stage of glaucoma both eyes. shall i get a seconnd opinion !

you are a myopic.physiological cupping is normal.but any increase in size or any differnce between two eyes may leads to suspicion of glaucoma .pleasw attach fundus pictures and oct images for second opinion.thanking you
