Does Prilosec 20 Mg Cause Dizziness?

I have been taking one 5mg Diazepam at bedtime for several years because of removal of half of my stomach. I have also been taking one (1) 40mg Nexium with dinner, but recently switched to one (1) 20mg Prilosec with dinner. I have been experiencing severe dizziness. Is it the combination of the Diazepam and Prilosec? My daily vitamins seem to conflict also. Would appreciate your opinion. Thank you!

hi,
Omeprazole (prilosec) can cause dizziness. it is observed that 5-7% of general population develop vertigo and dizziness to starting doses of omeprazole. Some patients may find it comfortable after 2 weeks.
Continue this for 2 weeks and if you feel no better, you should switch back to nexium.
Your giddiness is unlikely to be due to multi vitamins or any other interaction.
Hope this helped.
