Does Postinor Cause Infertility?

I took 2 doses postinor2 i.e 4 tablets, two tablets at ago around October-November 2013 now im period returned to normal in December but just this February 2014,i got a period from 10th-14th and then 24-28th still in February. i didnot not get my March period but i got my period today 2th April. i want to be pregnant and i have been trying too but no luck yet. did the pills make me barren? what are my chances of becoming pregnant this year?

Hello,

I understand your concern. No the contraceptive pill did not make you barren. It may have just messed with your cycle temporarily and this is normal.
Be patient for a few more periods until your cycle regulates itself. If this does not happen the I suggest you see a gynaecologist for further evaluation.

If your cycle becomes regular, you should be trying to get pregnant for at least a year before going to a doctor for further evaluation.
