Does Platelet Count Have Anything To Do With Arrhythmias?
hi I've been experiencing some arrythmias ror the past mth (feels like my heart is flipping)..so i decided to do some routine test _ECG, Holter, CXR and blood work incding a CBC. Everthing is normal but my plateles are 69. I only received the results this morning so I have not yet reapeated it. Is there any relation between the two? Apart from that the only other symptom I am having is R sided lower back pain (deep and dull around the area where rectal pain is referred)

No there is no relation between low Platelet count and Arrhythmias directly .
But a platelet count of 69 ( i think its 69000 ) is low and it needs evaluation to find the cause of low platelet count .
I advise you to also get tested for Thyroid disorders as it can also cause palpitation.
Also get tested for Dengue fever too as low platelet , lower back pain can be seen in Dengue Infection .
