Does Palpitations With Redness In Eye Suggest Conjunctivitis ?

My left eye is reddish and I got pain and swelling on palpation on some gland near my left ear also. I am suspecting this as conjunctivitis as my brother had this past week. I got difficulty opening my eye in the morning also. Which medication should i take?

lymph gland sweeling near ear means there is infection in left ear. or in nasal ant rum. from where you might have retrograde infection in left eye. Since it is bacterial conjunctivitis then start using anti biotic eye drop like ofloxacin .3% eye drop 6hourly. ,for 5days.
