General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, - Though early in pregnancy few ladies get slight bleeding,it can not be assumed as a sign of pregnancy. - Delayed periods with lighter/brown bleeding (with regular habit of scanty periods) ,without pain is less likely to be a pregnancy. - Still if you have strong doubt because of the stretchy tissue with blood,, pregnancy can be checked by blood HCG testing. - I doubt it to be a menstrual disorder due to hormonal imbalance.( thyroid,PCOD) & I would advice you to consult a gynecologist & investigate for these. These conditions need to be treated for good health/ fertility. Thanks.
