Does Having Situs Inversus In A Fetus Cause Complications Post Child Delivery?
Dear Sir/M am, My sister-in-law is 4 and half months pregnant and the scanning shows the baby has the heart at the wrong side i.e. situs inversus. Doctors says it will be normal baby just that the internal organs are on the opposite side. All the articles i read on the internet also tells the same. But I am personally concerned any medical complications in future, the child s need being special, not sure how prepared the medical field for these kind of the rare situations.
One thing need to be remembered that whenever the baby needs medical attention than its important to mention about the condition. otherwise no need to worry.
