Does Elevated Blood Sugar Levels During Pregnancy Cause Fetal Harm?

I am 34 weeks pregnant. I am gestetional diabetic. Before pregnancy I was a patient of polysistic ovary. I take 1500mg metformin each day.My fasting blood sugar is normal.But one hour of eating specially after lunch or dinner it is more than 160. Will it harmful for my baby.

160 is ok you can manage with diet and exercise
since which week of gestation you have diabetes
after 36 weeks blood sugar control is difficult and you need repeat blood tests more frequently
with gestational diabetes
baby weight increases and for lung maturity you need steroid injectiod
no relation between boy or girl with dibetes
