Does Effexor Medication Have Side Effects?
I am 40 years old and weigh 150lbs. I have suffered from depression for about 10 years. I have just stopped taking Effexor because it wasn t working. From what I read it wouldn t be a withdrawal symptom. I feel dizzy and light headed, especially in the past 2 days, and feel disoriented; even at night I feel the symptoms as I try to fall asleep. Any ideas?

Effexor does cause withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, light headed ness, or self harm thoughts etc. There're several methods to decrease withdrawal effects.one of them is wet finger method. In this method the Effexor capsule is first empty into a bowl or dish. A person applying this method licks his fingers and dabs over the Effexor capsules contents. Wet singers are used to take the appropriate amount .as time goes on the amount decreases.
Besides:
- Eat a nutritious diet
- Stay well hydrated
- Consider regular, light exercise
- Consider therapy or counseling
