Does Being For Too Long In Heat Cause Heat Exhaustion?

A friend of my husbands was in a grain bin today in the heat shipping corn out into a semi truck, the corn had molded and started frementing and since then, he has been running a temp of 102 and has drank small amounts of liquids and has no appetite. he was in the grain bin for about an hour and is complaining that he cant think clearly and is either hot or cold , no " happy medium" is this heat exaution or a heat stroke? should we seek medical attention? is this all from the molded corn ? or the heat?
