Does Paroxetine Cause Social Inhibition And Fatigue?

I m 52 and taking a 30 mg Paroxetine each day...I have always woken up at 4:30 am since I was a small girl...I find lately that by the time I m done with work at 3 or 4 each day...I freeze up and can t go out the door to socialize... It s so hard...I want to have a social life, but I m physically just tired....when I wake up at 4:30, I am wide awake so I read and do some personal enrichment things....spiritually and cognitively....many times I go back to sleep...and feel so awesome when I wake up....just wondering if this is a normal thing for someone my age and if it will pass.... Psychiatrist Dr. Shubham Mehta's  Response
Hello
Paroxetine can cause some slowness. But as you that you feel better at times, this may not be related to drug.
Just practice relaxation exercises and you will be fine.

All the best.
