Does Obimet SR Or Fertisure Cause Black Feces ?

Hi Doctor,
My doctor has prescribed me with Obimet SR 500mg and Fertisure F twice a day and I am taking the same from 12.02.14.But from yesterday own wards my feces is black in colour . I had two miscarriages earlier and now I am trying to conceive.
Is it due to medicines,whether it will effect my fertility?

Obimet sr is a medication normally used in diabetics but it can also be used to reduce insulin resistance in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (common cause of difficulty conceiving).

When obimet sr is used in polycystic ovarian syndrome, it improves fertility. It would not cause black stool.

Fertisure is also used to improve the chance of conception. The iron content could cause the black colour that you are seeing.
