Does Microgynon Intake Cause Depression And Anxiety?
Hi I m 17 years old and was prescribed with microgynon 30 today at the doctors, as I have really heavy periods. I m not sexually active and aren t using it as a contraception however I ve read lots of reviews online basically saying the pill makes you go crazy and suffer from severe depression/anxiety and mood swings. Also I suffer from iron defective and and am taking iron tablets. Is this okay to take as well as the pill? I would like to know if this is true as I am very nervous about taking my first one tomorrow thankyou . Also does it make you gain weight? Thankyou

The vast majority of persons who use this medication do not have any psychological change.
It can sometimes be associated with weight but this is influenced by food/drink intake and activity level.
