Does HPV TYPE 58 Get Cured In Six Months?

LAST SEPT I FOUND OUT I HAD HPV TYPE 58 AND THE DOC TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE ME ABOUT A YEAR FOR MY BODY TO CLEAR IT. I'VE VERY ACTIVE, EAT HEALTHY AND ABSTAINED FROM SEX FOR ALMOST 6MTHS. I HAD AN UNPROTECTED SEX ABOUT A WK AGO WITH MY BOYFRIEND. DO YOU THINK IT WOULD'VE CLEARED IN 6MTHS AND THAT I HAVEN;T PASSED IT ON TO MY BOYFRIEND?
