Dizziness, Headache, Fainting, Weakness. Skipping Meals

My daughter is getting dizziness , headache and has fainted thrice in last 4 days. She skips lunch quite frequently and at times she even skips breakfast. Her mother is diabetes which is under control by exercise. My daughter does not exercise at all and sleeps late at night after studies. She has been actively involved in dance practice for last one week. She does not drink water at all. She is feeling very weak also

Thanks for writing your query.

Low blood sugar and electrolyte disturbance can be the cause of dizziness, headache and fainting in your daughter.

Breakfast is an important meal as it is taken after a long gap from last eaten meal i.e dinner. So it should not be missed.

Water is essential for body and needs to be taken in adequate amount.

Also get her blood tested for
1. Sugar (Fasting and PP levels)
2. Serum electrolytes.

Give her plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and encourage her to drink pure water.
