General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The diarrhea of 3 weeks duration is due to continuous bacterial or viral load in the gut lumen.

The excess sleep is from generalised fluid-electrolyte imbalance particularly that of magnesium and potassium.

Immediately consume oral rehydration salt and contact 911 for best further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
