14 year old boy with diarrhea for over two weeks... now last 4 days he has bad stomach pain too... no fever, no loss of appetite or any other symptoms. took to dr they did xray and didn't see obstruction, no fear of append. Did stool sample but wont get back til mid next week. no one else is sick. very slight chance he was exposed to bad water and after I talked to dr I remembered he has had diarrhea occasionally for months now... like once a month. what can we do to get him thru the stomach pain next 4 days til results come back. he tried fluid only then brat diet and it hasn't helped.
