Diagnosed With Small Rectocele. Had Hysterectomy Years Back. How Is Rectocele Repaired Surgically Without Mesh?

Had hysterectomy 13years ago,I am 53 years old . I still have my ovaries . Have been diagnoses with small rectocele. I started estrace cream about a year ago. It has helped a lot. My concern is how is a rectocele repaired surgically without mesh? Hopefully I won't need surgery , but who knows what the future holds.

Thanks,

Hi,
Due to having lax pelvic floor muscles, risk of having rectocele or cystocele is there.
Gunaec will go for repair of loose pelvic floor muscles without mesh if prolapse of rectum is not more.
Meanwhile go for pelvic floor exercise if your Gynaec advices.
Ok and take care.
