Diagnosed With Odontogenic Keratocyst. Any Treatment Without Removing The Teeth?

I have just been diagnosed with odontogenic keratocyst after a byopsy, however, for the byopsy they removed my wisdom tooth to be able to take sample for the byopsy which really upset me and up to now am still in pain more than 4 weeks after the extraction, now with the diagnosis, i have been told they might have to remove 2 of my tooth to be able to remove the cyst even though the cyst has not affected my tooth. i was wondering if there isnt another way of treating it without removing my tooth. Thanks

odontogenic keratocyst is benign but locally aggressive developmental cystic neoplasm. It most often affects the posterior mandible.Although odontogenic keratocysts (OKCs) are benign, they are often locally destructive and tend to recur after conservative surgical treatment.it is very essential to completely remove the cyst hence they might have to remove your tooth to approach and completely remove the cyst.
