Diagnosed With Pcos. Have Weight Gain, No Periods After Delivery. Is This A Cause Of Concern?
Hi I am a 33 year old lady with 6 children (12 yo twins. a single 4 and Triplets 2) I have been irregular all of my life, and have been diagnosed with PCOS but since the triplets I have not had a cycle. I am gaining weight , have pain down there like a pin prick and when aroused The whole area hurts. My aunts have all had Hysterectomies in their early 30's. I wake up in the morning feeling hot. Should I see my family dr. a specialist or is this nothing to worry about.
hi i had gone through your query and understand your concerns. i would come up with two most possibilities to fit your condition .these include
1.first possibility is,HYPOTHYROIDISM;confirm with blood test for thyroid profile.
2.second possibility is,PCOD;Women with PCOD have High levels of male hormones (androgens),An irregular or no menstrual cycle ,Many small cysts (fluid-filled sacs) in their ovaries (although this may not always be the case).due to above reason the OVUM CANT BE RELEASED.
women with pcod prone diabetes,so please check your blood sugar levels for possibility of diabetes may be the cause your sufferings.
I hope this is helpful for you, thank you
