Delayed Periods, Sore Breasts. Due To Aging?

Hi I hope you can help me. My period is currently 8 days late. Last month it was 4 days late. There is no sign of my period and my breasts are a little sore. I did a pregnancy test 2 days ago which was negative. My period is normaly as regular as clockwork (28 days) I am worried there could be something wrong with me. I am 36 so I m not sure if it s my age.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Delayed periods could be due to many causes.
One of it is pregnancy.
Since your pregnancy test is negative, less likely you are pregnant.
Get a transvaginal scan to rule out follicular cyst of ovary.
Thyroid test for thyroid profile.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
