Delayed period, negative pregnancy test. Protected sex, on fenugreek capsule. Pregnancy chances?



Hi . I started taking fenugreek capsules 3-4 weeks ago . Now I am 10 days late on my period. Had protected (condoms)sex 2 times this month . Took HPT test last week after missed period and this week also . Both times result were negative. Still has the light cramping as I usually get during period. Can fenugreek really delay the period? or could I be pregnant?

Hello,

Fenugreek is a nutrient rich capsule. It has no link with delaying your period.

Here, you need to rule out pregnancy by blood test or TVS scan. Early HPT is less significant and condom has 15% failure rate.

Other reasons are stress, hormonal imbalance, wt gain or loss, ovarian cyst, pelvic infection etc.

Kindly, consult with gynecologist after initial tests for next management.

Take balanced diet, drink more fluid and avoid stress. Hope it helps.
